How to Use ID Lookup in an Emergency

Operational guide for SDRA ID-search workflows.

If you find a tagged animal and need to contact the handler, use our ID lookup tool to submit a verified contact request. This process is intended for lost-tag and emergency scenarios.

1. Locate the ID Number

Find the printed ID number on the tag and enter it exactly as shown in the ID Lookup form.

2. Review Registration Details

If the ID is valid, the lookup response returns basic registration details. This helps confirm you are submitting contact information for the correct animal.

3. Submit Contact Request

Complete the contact form with your name, email, phone, and reason for contact. Our team relays the message to the handler or emergency contact on file.

4. Use Support for Non-Emergency Issues

For account updates, order requests, or other non-emergency questions, use the Support page instead of the emergency lookup form.
